Aku'Maul is one of the newest and not yet fully understood Gods within the Twelve Realms of Iscoryn. Before the God Wars, there were many entities that wanted to lay claim to Gethin'Vir, commonly known as the realm of Shadow but there was only one who held tightly the crown of the Shadows power. He was known by many names over his reign and the one that struck fear into those that challenged his power, Kaval. He was a master of deception and betrayal, to a point that all of his threads that he had sown through the Pantheon of Old, made it almost impossible to cross because he would always have the leverage needed to call upon the power of another god or goddesses. Through his years of planting chaos where he could, he was able to find away to take some of his divinity and hide it away, although the process was very long and not truly tested or understood, The God War started. He sat back and watched his threads collapse one right after another as his "brothers and sisters" tore each other and their creations apart, he decided to act fast. I mean after all this may be the end of this era and he might not ever get a chance. With the right amount of materials he began his ritual to take a piece of him away and hide it to be revealed after all this mess was done with. Kaval's arrogance is what caused him to lose his crown of Gethin'Vir, so wrapped up in an act of self preservation he did not see many of his threads were no longer tangled, his web of creation was falling apart before his eyes, he was just not fully aware of anything except for the ritual since it was at its peak.
Aku'Maul Gallindrah was known as Icnodians Vindicator. He was hand chosen at his birth to be one of Icnodians greatest warriors. From the beginning stages of his life, he showed all facets of what it meant to be a true follower of Icnodian and his teachings, even before he understood what belief truly was. Through his life he held true to Icnodians ways and quickly rose through the ranks of his church. He was graced by his presence and held his council on multiple occasions. Aku'Maul was always at the forefront of whatever battle Icnodian chose to be apart of, whatever cause, Aku'Maul the Faithful was where he was told to be, always. The God Wars began and so did the work of The Vindicator and work he did. Filling himself in the essence of Icnodian, to a point of bursting, Aku'Maul leapt forward into the fray to protect his Protector and those that aligned with him. In the midst of a battle bloodier than anything the likes of this world had ever seen, the Vindicator was in his place, the vanguard and with Icnodians essence surging through him he laid waste to whatever came within his reach. Then in a blink he was no longer on the field of battle but in a very dark stone structure from all he could tell. The voice that came to his mind was that of Icnodian "Forward my warrior, quietly and quickly for one of the greatest threats to us all lies ahead and with him will come the vindication for all those that have been affected by his actions, which my son are more than numbers can reach. I will be with you, fear not... of course you don't fear! ha Aku'Maul the Faithful, let me light your way just as I have since you were brought into this world. You have given me a reason and a better understanding of what it means to love, admire and cherish those that are not from divinity. You have proven myself and so many other Gods that we were wrong about your kind, we were wrong about so many things... Go now, this will be the greatest challenge you have ever faced. In life and light!"
Aku'Maul the Faithful, The Vindicator strode forward without hesitation, without fear for this is his purpose. He is a sword, an instrument to keep the rest of the world at bay. He must do what others shouldn't have to bear, that is his burden and with a slight grin on his face he began forward more determined than he has ever been. Down a dark and cold stone hallway that seemed to go on for miles until light was finally seen and so his pace became even more determined. Upon entering a chamber that was alight was soft yellow, purple light that lined a figure standing in the center of the room. Standing directly in the center of a massive Rune that was gleaming of rare material and radiating magic unlike Aku'Maul had ever felt. As The Vindicator made his way forward the figure did not move and so a slow and quiet stride brought him into striking distance. With a guttural growl of rage and vindication Aku'Maul struck at the figure.
Kaval, feeling the power surging through him finally was reaching the last syllables to recite that would guarantee he would survive this war his family brought upon themselves. Right as the last of it left his lips Kaval was no longer just standing there, his eyes white and his conscience and a part of his power was surging forward across the land. Kaval with this was seeing the devastation across every part of the land and he was reaching a destination of where he was sending this power when his instincts kicked in to let him know he was not alone. Coming back to reality, only to turn slightly to capture a glimpse of a being radiating such energy, its a wonder how this "Vrah'Mish" (non-divinity) wasn't crumpling to dust before he felt pain he had not felt in years.
Aku'Maul swung with all his might and before he could feel the bite of his steel into this being he caught a glimpse of this figure... Eyes wide for the first time in his existence... this was Kaval.. A GOD! Icnodian sent him to kill a God... Icnodian believes I can do this and with these thoughts... I am his sword, guide me father! Then he felt that all too familiar feel of his sword, raw power of Icnodian, slicing into his enemy. Taking Kaval right at the collarbone cutting deep enough to reach his so-called heart, they held this stance for a few moments staring at one another. With blood on his lips, Kaval whispers: " Ha... You have no idea what you have done... Just my luck you were actually listening to me ramble and figured out what i was doing... how did you know though..(cough, spit) We were friends once Icnodian... You will pay for this one cycle or all of them... I will find you and all of your little followers and I will tear them..." that was the last words Kaval ever uttered for Aku'Maul in once quick movement, removed his sword and severed Kaval's head from his body.
Standing there with a smile on his face, he called forth to his Protector! "Father!! It is done!! I have brought vindication to the world!!" Within seconds a bright flash of pure radiant light filled the chamber and there stood Icnodian himself. Aku'Maul fell quickly to his knees in a stance he had performed all his life.
Icnodian "Rise my son and know what you have done here has changed the tide of this War and it shall.... What is happening??" Aku'Maul felt a change in the room and looked around only to catch a glimpse of shadows slowly circling him, rising from the ground to wrap around every inch of his body. Fearfully backing away and trying to wipe them off to no avail, he looks towards his Protector wanting to scream a plea, yet as soon as his mouth opens shadows start pouring in. Seeing Icnodian trying to weave his magic, he is trying to stop what is happening and then the room turns to complete darkness.
Light illumines around Icnodian and you can see that his light no longer reaches the whole chamber, only just a little aura around him. There standing in front of him is no longer Aku'Maul the Faithful, the Vindicator... He was still Aku'Maul but Icnodian can no longer feel the connection he so intimately had from the beginning. Aku'Maul: "Father... what has happened?? This is not what I want... I have never felt this way before, its a mixture of ecstasy and agony all at the same time! I have never felt this power... Not even when you lent me your strength! I am him now aren't I?" Icnodian: "It appears so but this should not have happened, I had hoped that the power I gave you would only capture him within your blade... That means you caught him right at the time he was about to pervasively destroy the line of divinity power. Aku'Maul, you are who you have always been, you do not have to take on his ways, you do not have to be him!" Aku'Maul: "Ha... Did you know when divinity is transferred like this, when another person take the mantel of Godhood that they also retain memories from that entity... all of the memories?... I remember everything... Little brother... I remember it all! - with a quick shake of his head, hands going to his temples, the pain - "No... no... that wasn't me Father... I mean I do remember but those words... I don't know why I said them... Help me!"
Before Icnodian could move to his chosen's side, before Aku'Maul could even reach out to his Father, everything he had ever known began to change. There was a piercing alarm that rung out across the world and as both of these Gods stood there, hands covering their ears, they heard the same thing that rang across the world.
(The Tilt) "ENOUGH!! Time for a change!! This has gone on far too long... All of you have lost sight of what it means to carry the power you all have... Well I am going to show you all my power at its fullest. From this point forward, Gods will no longer touch Iscoryn. Away with you, to your own realms!!"
Aku'Maul standing there with a mind that by all comparison hold a few memories compared to all the memories that he is seeing that aren't his own. Before this power surged through him, he did not know who The Tilt was, but hearing his voice, he just knows. Just like he knows this god before him, is no longer someone he serves, in fact, he cannot even feel a glimpse of what it was like to not have his own power surging through him. "Icnodian, you have kept me safe during my mortal life and I will always be grateful for that and I will hold to your teachings. Now that I know what I know of the rest of you Gods, I can quickly understand why Kaval laid the web that he did. My eyes are open to the real truth and my old truth. Do not ever cross me again Icnodian, never again."
With that, Aku'Maul does not know how but he just does it. He reaches out to the shadows that encompass the entirety of this room, except for the small outline of Icnodians light, "Take me home" and in a seconds Aku'Maul is standing in the wilds of Gethin'Vir for the first time in ages, not to battle but to rule.
Aku'Maul decided that with his new Divinity that he was going to do things differently. He now understood why Kaval spun his webs wide and thick. There are only Five true Temples of Aku'Maul. One resides within the Free Cities of Arameth (Al'Froith: Emerald). One resides within the Velaneesian Empire, in Karnand (Management: Diamond). One resides within the Free States(The Sheath: Ruby). One within the Velaneesian Capital (Weave Slayers: Onyx). There was one said to be to the East of the Rivathan Lands (Iron Band: Sapphire) but there has not been as much contact of late.
Each Temple of Aku'Maul is extremely discrete, located under the watchful eye of anyone looking for anything that shouldn't be there. These temples are only revealed to those that have become to be apart of that regions Shade. Those under another regions Shade will know the location as well but will have to go through many trials (despite your rank elsewhere) to show who you are and prove who you are. Any follower of Aku'Maul understands the meaning and the feeling of betrayal. The location, if ever leaked outside those granted its knowledge, will be hunted by all and punishable by death.
There is always in one way or another a contact in just about anywhere in Iscoryn, even to the smallest most hidden piece of the world may have someone that has ties to the 'Vir or know enough to help. For sometimes the penalties of knowing too much knowledge and choosing the same fate as many others you have read of in the past, leaves you really with no choice.
Secrets, Lies, Deals, Contracts, Markets, History, Politics, Puppets, etc... The web of knowing the right people in the right places is a forever growing business. Learning and using it to apply pressure in all areas, pressure that can be applied, to suck dry any lead for gain, what some might be the smallest bit of information, yet could be the thing to bring someone to their knees. Knowledge is power and within the search of this knowledge many opportunities can rise to the call of growth. Seek all avenues that could potentially better prosper The 'Vir and if you can bring people a little to high on their pedestal down in the process, then so be it.
"Everything has a point of shattering. If you know how to press and exactly when to press, you could crumple the Gods... Just ask The Tilt"
What goes around comes around, Eye for an Eye, Payback is a Biatch etc.. There will always be the need for balance and sometimes that requires someone to be the good guy and someone to be the bad guy. Can you not be the bad guy but doing it for good reasons? vice versa? Sometimes payback is in order and sometimes there is just need for vengeance.
There are five guilds spread across (Iscoryn) and each one of these are in a prominent area, some even say the precise place they need to be. (We can change the names)
(Al'Froith: Emerald) (The Sheath: Ruby) (Management: Diamond) (Iron Band: Sapphire) (Weave Slayers: Onyx)
Each guild is ran by what is known as "The Shade" and there is only one Shade per region/guild. They can be known by names of gems; Emerald, Ruby, Diamond, Sapphire, Onyx. They can also be known to the area as many many more names, business's, professions because the list can truly go on and on.
Under each Shade are five assassins, ranking from 5-1 which determines who will be the next Shade of that guild if something were to befall the current.
Each assassin is in control of a team: (1) "Thief" (1) Arcanist (1) Proficient.
- Each assassins team is the ranking of their leader. If one of the team members performs badly or is subject to ... expulsion... that can have a drastic affect on their leader, in turn to the Shade of that region.
Aku'Maul having a better understanding of the Gods before the God War, knowing that the "Vrah'Mish" (Non-Divinity), since he was one of those not too long ago and the other side of Gods, the other beings of immense power. He saw that they all connected and if they all connect there is always a singular spot where they all tie together. A spot to either Reign or Shatter it to a million pieces. Within these shattered pieces his eyes focused on four colors that represent "Gethin'Vir" and that represent some sentiments that he lived by before the Shadow became more of him than what once was. (Black, Deep / Faded Yellow, Deep Purple, Ashy Red)
Three Triangles, either together forming a pyramid or three displayed across your body in one way or another. Within the actually inner workings of The "Vir" they are tied to a certain region, guild, group etc.. so they will have their own set of colors on one triangle. Then their own colors to describe their rank which Shade they are under(Which usually contains 1-5 gems of the Temple you represent. The third triangle will be the colors of Aku'Maul. These symbols could be on your person, together or separate. A ring on one hand and a braided chord of leather around your belt and a metal piece in your hair. As long as they can be seen by the right people that know what their looking for, they will understand a little bit of trust. For a person that breaks the trust of The "Vir" still carry those triangles with them but they are now broken and are referred to as "Poxe" an outcast, a disease that was cut off before it could cause anymore harm. There are some who become Poxe and make their way back into the graces of the "Vir" but that is an extremely rare occurrence. Aku'Maul believes that people deserve a second chance... well some people.
When the time comes that you are appointed a Shade, you are then sent to "Vra'Kraten-Raar" where you truly will come into contact with Aku'Maul himself once you enter is plane. It may be a manifestation of him or his essence there but in that moment you are struck where you stand faster than you can blink. As if a hand just plunged through your chest and grabs a hold of you heart and it is filled with intense coldness that eventually turns to burning... then it is over just as quick as you began. This is a test to see if your Vessel can withstand the power of Aku'Maul if the time called for him to take over. This is not a secret, every Shade is made aware of what it means to be one, what the truest meaning of it really is. There are times that people are appointed to Shade and yet do not make it past the trial and "Arthek'Injear" can take place again, even if it is the same exact day.
It is known that when you are a Shade that something happens, something that only a Shade will ever understand and it is never mentioned, not even to another Shade in many cases. The idea that Aku'Maul has 5 Aspects roaming the world and with clear rules being written by "The Tilt" that this information, this unlocked magic of old is to stay dead and buried like all the other stories now turned to myth.
If the test is passed and the title of Shade is anointed, then you receive the mark of "Gethin'Vir", the boon of Aku'Maul. There are the following marks given:
Emerald, Diamond, Onyx, Ruby, Sapphire
All Shades receive these bonuses:
The Magus is in charge of the protection of the Anchor along side the Sword. Aku'Maul has shown his two chosen the memories of what transpired to the God War and all that has transpired to now. They understand the true importance of this place and its secrets. The Magus is so in tune with the realm of Shadow that switching between realms is easy enough and knowing the right creation to ride within the realm, allows him to move across Iscoryn quickly when the time is in need of the Magus. They are infused with the knowledge of how Glyphs were created and why they are so important and vital to the future. There have only been a few passed down to the Magus that have the power that the 'Vir truly need. One such is a Glyph that is laid upon each of the (5) Shades that will allow them to transport back to "Vra'Kraten-Raar", the Anchor.
The Magus is also charged with following any leads they can, especially those that are more along the lines of privileged things that Aku'Maul seeks.
They are continuously called upon to look at items across Iscoryn that fellow 'Vir have found that have magic they cant explain, or magic that is tied to Aku'Maul and his realm.
All the rights and rituals that are done to those that enter the 'Vir are done by the Magus and the Magus alone. Through him flows a true tap of power from "Gethin'Vir" and when he is located at the Anchor, marvelous magic is able to be seen, that many think long and forgotten. The Magus is gifted with the knowledge of what Kaval was trying to achieve before Aku'Maul took the throne of Gethin'Vir and has been able to continue its research to great expanses. It is knowledge that Gods can only inhabit their Aspect to be able to truly walk Iscoryn, this is why the Magus has shown that he can split it into 5 points of power, that at any given time can give him access to someone who has already recited the passage of willingness, minus the last word needed. When called upon, they say the word and so they feel the true power of God power. That is what it means to be a Shade, the leader of a region, the protector of the Temple.
Through the information that is passed down to the Magus, the study of Magic and how the realms work and the rules that apply within each. There was something to the history to be learned and that was, when some are forced to be without their magic or not at their strongest, they are the first to submit. Glyphs and the knowledge of them are sought after quite heavily but only to the select people that even know what their looking for. Glyphs are a major asset against all types of enemies and the uses are endless. Binding all these together it has allowed for certain Glyphs to be able to withhold to skin and contact that can be set off mulitple times or singular, at a single word. These findings and testings are perfected and given to those within the 'Vir that have done a great service.
The mortal sword has and will always be chosen by the way of the shadow or known within the 'Vir as "Arthek'Injear". This is a test between Shades of Old. There is always a time for a Shade to be replaced, retire in some ways or be appointed new. When this time happens, there is always someone looking for more than what their current status is. If you are apart of the 'Vir and are ranked, you can put your name in the ring and climb the ladder. Many do and each test is always different with ever "Arthek'Injear". To become the Sword you must have held the title of Shade and it is known that a Shade can give up his title to pursue the role of the Sword.
Anyone within the 'Vir and that is ranked has come in contact with the Sword at least once before they are officially titled. The "Reathen" tests every single member in a one v.s. one duel that will last the entire day. A duel not just physical but one of the mind as well. The job of the Sword besides protecting "Vra'Kraten-Raar" and the other is to hone each and every dedicated to a fine point. The Sword can and will stop by any place at any time to test their skills and if they are not up to par with what the 'Vir holds as a standard, there can be consequences such as Death, Poxe, Demotion.
The Sword's main duty is to keep watch over the Anchor. There within his wing of "Vra'Kraten-Raar" the Sword is made into more than just a physical weapon. Every secret, every tid bit of knowledge that the 'Vir receives, he is made aware of, big or small. There is a gift given to those that take the mantel "Gethin'Reathen'Vir" that allows the Sword to retain and process all this information quickly, precisely to which he makes his contacts within the 'Vir and makes the holds of the Web over Iscoryn. He devises all Hits, all Missions, all Inquiries. There is not a move within the 'Vir that The "Reathen" doesn't know about. There is something within the ritual that ties the body, mind, soul to the Anchor and allowing him to speak through shadows as if whispering in the ear of a person next to you. Which in many ways is the exact way you get any "mission" you're assigned to.
The Sword is also just that, a Sword. A master of many weapons, in fact, being this close to the Anchor allows for an easy transition into "Gethin'Vir" in which there are pockets that allow for time to move differently and that is where the Sword has trained for many many cycles, as maybe a cycle has went by in reality. Not only deadly with the chosen martial weapons but the pure use of Shadow magic calls to any of the Triumvirate and when you are this close to the source of power, you learn a few things here and there. Along side the Magus and with their help, the Sword becomes a blur of darkness and knows how to wield it in ways that have not been seen since the Ages of Power.
The Anchor is located at the bottom of the "Mezion Lake" located in the Free Cities and only the Shades and hand selected few others have been to the Anchor and or even know its location. At the bottom of the lake which seems to be the darkest place found in all of Iscoryn resides a citidal which holds the Anchor. The only way within the structure is that of which the Magus has come to you and placed upon you the Symbol of Aku'Maul. Once it is used, contact must be made and the Symbol and its power must be redone by the Magus.
The citidal itself "Vra'Kraten-Raar" is guarded by the Magus, Sword and many other wonderful things that were brought in from Gethin'Vir. Most of these angels are hand chosen by Aku'Maul himself to guard this place. Since the War (1737 cycles ago) there has only been one attempt of someone tampering with the Anchor (648 cycles ago) and that was a Shade that was quickly made a Poxe and was sentenced to death. Somehow he escaped and that is the only one who has ever escaped the wrath of the 'Vir.
At one point Aku'Maul the Vindicator for the God Icnodian, healed the world of whatever plagued it. The healing that of which is broken is a focus for those that follow the 'Vir and it is done in a multitude of ways. Bringing chaos to a "stable area" provides information, then which is used to dispose of someone that was bringing much pain to people that couldn't rise up and change the way they were forced to live. Sometimes that means taking on a whole new identity and wait for 30+ years for the right moment to apply to right amount of pressure at the right time to watch the web laid so intricately, crumple and all those it was attached to dragged along with it. There have been countless amazing and wonderful deeds done by followers of Aku'Maul that have saved thousands of lives, if not more over the years. There is always a purpose though, the Church itself is tasked with finding information about other Divine beings and any and all pieces of history leading to right after the Tilt sealed the Gods away. The equally main thing sought after is the information revolving around "Kaval" and the potential a portion of his power is still on Iscoryn somewhere.
Since the God War, Aku'Maul made is way across Iscoryn in the form of Merchants, Lords and Ladies, Kings and Queens to serving girls and boys to business owners, adventurers, assassins and bounty hunters. Wherever someone was that held revenge and anger towards being oppressed and stepped on. To those that harbored so much anger even for those they didn't know being affected by someones abuse of power. Many join the network of 'Vir because they have no choice or they agree with what the 'Vir bring with them. There are always people in search of the 'Vir and all the services they can provide, or how far their hands reach and sometimes what those hands are able to retrieve.
Wherever there is a place that Information can be found traveling, you will find one or many 'Vir there, gaining information to further increase the depth in which they have their claws into points across Iscoryn. In the Shadows of course or in the guise of someone very prominent, playing their role until its curtain time.
Aku'Maul understands why Kaval spun the web he did, he understands the benefit of being in the Shadows and watching all the others dance about the Game and yet playing a different one entirely.
Within Iscoryn there are places known from small little shanty towns to the massive cities of the mighty leaders, there is always someone that knows how to contact the 'Vir. It could be a bakery or it could be a goods store or maybe even the captain of the guard to a king. If you know the symbols to look for, you can find a worshiper of Aku'Maul just about anywhere. Many think that the ''Vir" is a guild or a mercantile business for hire in a variety of ways. Those that have put their hands within the inner workings come to understand a different meaning all together. They come to understand that they are everywhere and anywhere at anytime and you will have no idea that where their true allegiances lie.
Priests, Followers, Soldiers, Assassins, Thieves, etc... They are not walking up and down the road preaching the word of Aku'Maul!! There is nuance in subtlety and it is practices wide within the 'Vir.
Priests of Aku'Maul are not clothed in cloth and wait by a church or telling whomever you can grab nearby to listen of the tales of Aku'Maul!! No, those that follow the 'Vir come in all shapes and sizes, all walks of life. From the rich lord that takes from all those around him, to the poor man that is being taken from. Many of the followers know that in order to serve Aku'Maul means to supply the 'Vir with information big and small or allow trading of any other resource that will further help the cause of The Shadow. Information is always guaranteed to come with coin, a favor, a pardon or future business arrangements.
Those that are devout beyond the normal follower may find themselves in a cycle of tests proving their worth, showing their weakness's and strengths in hopes of being (Anouy'Vir). Meaning known to the inner 'Vir as someone who is ready for ascension if a position were to open up or someone who has worked with the 'Vir and have a great working relationship, trustworthy. These individuals are tasked with the heavier jobs, the more dangerous kind ranging from mercenary work to contract kills. From freeing people under an iron grip or stealing a prized possession, only to use as leverage for the bigger goal at hand. These chosen are how the web is spun wider, thicker and more intricate each and every day.
If called upon by any of the 'Vir for any task at all must be made the top priority above anything else in your life. It is the way and will always be the way, there is not time like the present to answer the call of "Gethin'Vir".
- *** At all cost, a life of an Icnodian follower is prohibited unless it is life and or death. If it comes out that you are the instigator and because of that a follower died, you will be punished by the 'Vir with your life despite Rank or Stature among the 'Vir.
- *** There is an understanding somewhat between Duenvyn and his followers and those of Aku'Maul. There will be many times that are paths cross due to the information both parties seek. You may not even realize who they are or them you, but if both parties are after the same information, you had best make sure its in your hands and not theirs. Aku'Maul thrives on secrets and knowledge hidden away and a lot of that hiding can be attributed to the way Duenvyn has his people locking them away and erasing them from the world.
+1 Die to Skills or Crafting of your choosing related to Acrobatics, Stealth, Perception, Stagecraft, *Crafting, etc..
-1 to Reaction Die when in darkness or being ambushed or surprised
Non-magical darkness is treated as dim light, in feet, equal to the priest's Vision score + Ranks in Shadow
(Handlers: Web layers: Lay the intrigue and maintain its power and influence. - Magus)
(Assassin: Muscle: They are the ones that carry out the things needed done. They are the Poxe seekers)
These vary across the realm of Iscoryn, mostly dependent on where you are from, where you have held ties but when it comes to the 'Vir there is only one way, sending you to "La'Her'Viru". This is a sacred place within "Gethin'Vir", it is a place that holds those that have passed within the 'Vir, a cemetery if you will. The ritual can be done by anyone that can open a Gate and recite the incantation known only to those within the 'Vir. Once the last words are recited and the power is unleashed it will call forth "Le'Her" or known as The Caretaker who will come to where it is being called and take the body and or bodies to their final resting place.
Through Aku'Maul's life before Godhood he knew and understands the power of the dead. He knows what Nevesh is capable of and will not allow any of his followers to end up in his church or be used by his priests. Within "Le'Her'Viru", it is protected and held from the grasping hands of perversion, this guarantees that secrets do in fact stay within the 'Vir and that there wont be any attacks made from within by someone who has been made a puppet of anyone that practices in the art of Necromancy.
It is forbidden to take on any contract that involves the lives of children and or innocence in general. There is a fine line that is walked very frequently and people will always be people but within the 'Vir, if it is found that you have broken this creed, you will not be given the chance to be made "Poxe", your life is the only thing that will answer for what you have done.
If you steal from those that do not have it to help yourself, "Poxe" you shall become.
If you get caught and you speak of anything about the inner workings of the 'Vir, you might as well hide somewhere that they will never find you... You know though, that the 'Vir, is everywhere.
Allies: (These are God's that have helped in the past and even though we all have our own goals in mind, they have shown me that they appreciate the new King of Shadow
Enemies: (These Gods were his hated enemies in his past life and that part of whom he use to be, is something he continues to hold onto. These God's and their followers are to be followed back to where they're hiding, with any of their ilk and contact is to be made with the Sword immediately.
Outsiders: These God's may have a different opinion about Aku'Maul and his followers but his followers just know to identify, watch and gather any and all Intel possible. Though many of these God's are very open and have Temples spread across Iscoryn, there are always those of the Church that know some things can't be handled by one of their faith and have been known to ask the help of the 'Vir to right their wrongs or to keep their wrongs from never being spoken of. Above all Gods though, Icnodian and any of his followers are to never be harmed or fear the wrath of the Triumvirate or Aku'Maul himself.
On the (28, 29, 30) of every cycle, there is always a cause for celebration or a job. To do deeds that bring forth information and or leverage on these days, is highly smiled upon by those of the 'Vir.
In the (11th Cycle) of Aku'Maul and on the 28th day, those that serve the 'Vir find their way at midnight to lock themselves away somewhere that they can be surrounded by Shadow/Darkness and recite the oath of "Gethin'Vir".
(Within the Shadows I shall wait. Death cannot see me, for I am the real darkness. Through blood spill or compromise, the 'Vir will always be and I will always be the 'Vir)
