This is the crucial process of making sure you arrow is locked into the bowstring at the right angle and that you are holding your bow correctly. By all accounts, this is typically the slowest facet of your Retrieve to Release process.

Your Nock cost is 360 AP. You have a Dexterity of 11 which reduces the 360 AP by 11%. Your actual Nock AP is 349 AP.
Draw
You have successfully Nocked and are now drawing the string and ammunition to your cheek. You acquire your target, the distance and movement, and deciding the exact time you would want to release.
Your Draw Action Point cost is reduced by your Strength Attribute.
Your Draw cost is 120 AP. You have a Strength of 8. Your actual Draw AP is 110 AP.
You reduce your Draw Action Point cost by 15% for every Strength point you have above the requirement for the bow.
You are using a bow with a Strength requirement of 6, but you have a Strength of 7. The normal AP cost of 120, would be reduced to 108, minus your Strength of 7, giving you a total of 95 AP needed to Draw that bow.
You increase your Draw Action Point cost by 25% for every Strength point you have below the requirement for the bow.
You are using a bow with a Strength requirement of 8, but you have a Strength of 6. The normal Draw AP cost of 120, would be increased to 180, minus your Strength of 6, giving you a total of 169 AP needed to Draw that bow.
Release

Crafting Process:
The first phase in the Crafting process is called “Roughing”. This is the process by which you pick the stave with the greatest potential. This roll determines what the max of every other roll you can have in the “Tillering” and “Accuracy” phases of crafting.
Damage Event:
The second phase in the Crafting process is called "Tillering".
It is the process by which they would test and assess the strength of the bow and its damage capabilities.
The crafter rolls three Crafting rolls, uses the average of the three rolls, and that determines the Damage Event that the bow will use every time damage needs to be rolled.
Damage Bonus:
+1 Bonus per Die rolled and +1 Damage Die per Strength Requirement, added to the Damage Roll.
Strength Range Requirement:
The Strength requirement range is 1-8. Bows were made of various sizes and pull strengths for all ages.
The Strength requirement for the bow is determined by the Crafter before the process starts. The higher the Crafting Roll, the farther along the Damage Event scale of that particular Strength requirement you are. This is determined by the Tillering process. Accuracy Percentage:
The Longbow reduces your base Accuracy Percentage of 100% by 5% of the "Accuracy Percentage" Crafting Roll.
The Bowyer/Fletcher rolls a 197 on the Accuracy Percentage phase of the crafting process. This particular launcher would reduce the base 100% by 10% (5% of 197 = 9.8).

Spanning:
After the Windlass mechanism is attached properly, you must now crank the Windlass to Span the bowstring back to its locked position.

Your Span cost is 360 AP. You have a Agility of 10. The max AP you can spend per second is 60, to Span the Windlass. You may add your Agility
Detach Windlass:
After you have Spanned the crossbow, you must then remove the Windlass mechanism to be able to fire it.
