Dexterity + Insight + Intellect + Launcher Ranks + Shoot Ranks + Focus + Prowess
Dexterity shows your ability to draw the arrow from whatever source it is housed and your ability to nock the arrow properly and quickly for the draw and release.
Insight and Intellect are used to determine distance, movement and flight time.
Each Launcher has a Strength requirement attached to it, showing that you need to be a certain Strength to use the launcher effectively.
If you have a higher Strength than a Bow's requirement, you can shoot it faster and if you have a lower Strength, then you will shoot it slower.
You cannot use a Launcher whose Strength requirement is more than two points higher than your Strength.
You can use any bow lower than your Strength requirement. The bonus only applies twice.
Your Target Number is the base minimum you would need to roll for a chance to hit your target without any penalties.
To determine what your Target Number is, you will add the three factors below; Distance, Movement, Wind.
The number you need to roll to ensure you are close to your mark, is the distance you are from the intended target.
If you are moving, then you must add your Movement, in feet per second, to the Target Number and to each Accuracy Increment after the base is calculated.
If your target is moving, you must add their movement speed, in feet per second, to the Target Number only.
The wind speed, in feet per second, is added the Target Number and to each Accuracy Increment after the base is calculated
Accuracy Percentage is a percentage of the Target Number that is added into the Accuracy Increment.
The Accuracy Percentage is 100% base for every shooter. The launcher and ammunition you use lower the base percentage giving you a better chance of hitting your mark.
The Accuracy Increment is your Accuracy Percentage of your Target Number plus Wind and Movement modifiers.
Every time you roll the Accuracy Increment number over your Target Number, you reduce your Spread Die by 1 Dice Tier.
Your Spread Die represents the number of inches, from your declared bullseye, that your shot hits, with 1 being the bullseye.
The Expertise "Spread -1" reduces the Spread roll result by 1.
Note: "Spread -1" does stack.
After you have rolled your Attack, and your Target Number and Accuracy Increment are calculated, your roll minus your Target Number, divided by your Accuracy Increment, gives you the number of Dice Tiers to reduce your Spread Die by.
Spread Die Tier list is as follows: 1d60--->1d30--->1d20--->1d18--->1d16--->1d14--->1d12--->1d10--->1d8--->1d6--->1d4--->1d2
Rolling UNDER your Target Number needed: If you roll under the Target Number needed, you still roll a 1D60 Spread Die, but now add the difference in what you rolled to the distance you needed to roll, in inches, to your Spread Die.
After your Attack, a 1d60 is rolled and is used to determine the angle of the shot.
The angle starts at the top of the head with a 1 on the d60, moving clockwise (looking at the target) until you make a full circle back around to the head at 60.
The area chosen by Shooter, is where the center of the Hit Plate is for the purposes of Angle. This tells you only what direction the projectile traveled to.
The dangerous and most, powerful effect of Ranged weapons is that their damage is consistent and deadly, even when used by a novice or untrained shooter.
Every bow and crossbow have a different Damage Event from each other. This is established in the Tillering process of the crafting of the Ranged launcher.
